McCall 1st Grade- Mrs. McLaren -Iona Elementary

McCall was a brave girl the first couple days of school. She was supposed to be in Mrs. Pymms class. but when we went to back to school night, Mrs. Pymm presented the idea to all of us that she was going to be trying out a new teaching method on the kids- where they would be standing at tables, or sitting on bouncy balls, or laying on the ground during class and while they worked. I wasn't comfortable with this and so I requested for McCall to be transfered to another class. McCall was bummed that she wasn't going to have the teacher she has originally thought she would and was nervous to meet a new teacher and new kids in the class. But we went through with it, and she ended up having a great year with Mrs. McLaren.
