Kids Bedrooms!

McCall and Diesel have slept in the same room together their entire lives so far. They have been troopers sleeping in the living room downstairs for the last 6 months while they have been waiting for their bedrooms. These rooms in the basement were SO incredibly creepy and dark and just felt nasty. One room had redish pinkish brownish carpet. One room had lenolium in it. They had tiny windows that hardly let any light in. Mark Dug holes and got Egress Windows cut and installed which made all the difference in the world. We removed carpet and lenolium. Then beefed up the trim and got light fixtures switched out. We removed the baseboard heat and added nicer Cadet heaters. We rearranged closet space and allowed a better entrance into McCalls room, that was previously blocked by her closet. Last but not least carpeting the whole basement. The kids have LOVED having their rooms done, but most the time I think they would still prefer to be in the same room as each other. Before and During pictures of the rooms and windows:
