Chickens and Kittens

This Spring we got some chicks. We started with 4 Gold Sexlinks and 6 Lavender Orpingtons. The chicks have been so fun to have around. They are such nice chicks. The Golden sexlinks are some of the nicest chickens i have ever been around. Shortly after the chicks were old enought to be moved to the coop my Aunt Denise called and said their barn cat had abandoned her kitties and they needed someone to take care of them (feed them through a bottle every few hours) while they were up at their ranch running their business. So we all were in charge of taking care of them for a week or two until they all found a home to go to.
