Happy Birthday Mom

Mom's birthday was really relaxed this year. We all went to church and Dad had meetings until about three, and then he was able to leave early and spend the rest of the day with us. Mark and I taught our class and then left church an hour early so we could be there by three also. With Oakley only being two weeks old, we didn't want a lot of people over to the house so that Alese and Ty and Oakley could come over and be with Mom. We had taco salads and they were delicious. Mom opened her presents: Dad got her a sculpture of a "grandma and a grandchild" it was pretty cute. After mom finished opening presents we talked, relaxed, played with little oakley, and ate yummy brownies (that my mom made for herself) she is pretty stubborn to say the least. We had a good time, but I know my mom would have loved it even more if she got to talk to Jeff on her birthday-but we will get to talk to him soon enough on Mothers day!
