Leg update

Wednesday we had our appointment with dr. Biddullph. Mark was still in a lot of pain and couldn't put his leg down without it feeling like it was going to explode. We had another x-ray taken at this appointment and the bone actually looked a heck of a lot better even after just a week. 

When dr. Biddullph came in he informed us that marks leg was really infected and that was why it was red and hot. He explained that it really wasn't the bone he was concerned with but that his main concern was with how crushed up marks leg got from the skidsteer that ran it over. He told mark that he doesn't even have to have a cut for the infection to get in his leg. . . The impact alone will push bacteria through the skin. 

He prescribed an antibiotic and pretty much told mark not to get up unless its to go to the bathroom. If this antibiotic doesn't work then he will have to go into the hospital for an I.v. Antibiotic. So needless to say- mark his been doing a lot of this lately.
