Blessing Weekend

Diesel was given his name and blessing this Sunday. We enjoyed seeing Marks family (most of them were able to make it). Saturday my Aunt Denise threw a baby shower for me...mostly just a get together for her family to see Diesel. It was such a nice brunch and my aunt Denise went all out for it. It was western themed and the food was so dang good. While Diesel, McCall and I were at the shower Dad and Grandpa Nield were gathering chairs and tables and setting them up at our house for Sunday after the blessing. Marks family just made a down and back trip on Sunday so it was a long day for them.

I forgot to get a picture with everyone that stood in the circle for Diesel's blessing, but there was Grandpa Nield, Grandpa Dimond, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Jason, and Uncle Kendal. Dad gave you a special blessing. 

After church we went to our house and had a lunch for everyone. We all had a fun time chit-chatting and eating. The kids all played outside and McCall was sooo tired by the end of the day.

We are sure glad to have diesel in our family and are grateful for his sweet spirit in our home. We also are grateful for the effort all of dad family made to come from Wendell.
