We got to take a road trip to Montana to visit Stan and Brooke and their kids. Aspen graduated from High School and we got to see their new baby Tanden. Mark and I are still saving as much money as possible right now for our house, so we decided to leave Saturday morning at 4. Thus way we wouldn't have to stay in a hotel two nights and we would get there early enough that we would be there all Saturday, also the kids would sleep most the drive. It ended up working really well. Both the kids slept until about 6. McCall woke up at 6 and watched tangled until we got to Bozeman around 7:15 and ate some breakfast. I fed Diesel and we jumped back on the rode around 7:45. McCall finished watching tangled then fell back asleep, and Diesel was asleep the minute we got back on the road. We finally got to Stan and Brooke's around 10:45.
We had a really good time visiting with their family and McCall LOVED playing with some younger kids all weekend.
Aspen had a graduation party Saturday night, and then graduation was Sunday afternoon. They had a good ceremony and it was fun watching her and her friends walk.
