Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Sunday

We took McCall to the ucon Easter egg hunt again this year. We got her all geared up and excited to go pick up eggs, and when the siren went off it scared her and she just froze and was scared to move. Finally once we got her calmed down and excited again she just took off running across the tennis court and didn't pick anything up...so mark went out and coached her a little bit to help her pick up some eggs and put them in the basket. She ended up getting quite a few eggs! It was a lot of fun and I think she understands now what the Easter egg hunt is all about.

Later we went over and died eggs at my parents with Oakley and Alese. The girls still needed A LOT of supervision and help with this, but thought the eggs were so "pretty". 

Sunday, McCall woke up to a trail of jelly beans left by the Easter bunny from her bed to her basket that was hiding behind the couch. (When she woke up we didn't even hear her until she came around the corner with her mouth full of jelly beans saying "ummy". She was so excited when she saw her basket of goodies hiding. She got some sidewalk chalk, a bubble gun, a new toothbrush, some tights, some hair clips, sunglasses, and candy. And we all got a new church outfit. My mom volunteered to come watch Diesel while we went to church with McCall. Our Easter program was really good and it helped me remember what Easter is really all about. After church we headed to my parents for Easter dinner. (Which is always so so so good).
